# Echos

**Summary**\
Use PRIME to spawn ‘Echos’ - NFTs replicated from FE, SE, and PL cards. As Parallel onboards players, Echos are critical to scaling scarce NFTs to a growing playerbase. NFTs are not required to play Parallel, but they are required to earn PRIME from [gameplay](/echelon-prime-foundation/2.0-prime-token/2.1-gameplay.md).\
\
**Cost**\
Variable, based on demand.\

The Echo Recycling Pool contains 10% of all PRIME used to create Echos. It allows holders to 'recycle' Echos - burning them to redeem PRIME. Redemptions vary, but amount to roughly 10% of creation costs.
